Central air is made up of two pieces: one is the evaporator which sits inside the furnace and the other is the condenser which you can see outside. The two pieces are connected by pipes referred to as the line set: this contains refrigerant piping and electrical wiring between the two pieces.
If central air can be used it is the most efficient way to go because:
• The existing ductwork that is being used for the heating will evenly distribute the air to all areas of the home • More efficient overall cooling • Very quiet inside • Very simple to install • Many brand names and models to choose from Carrier | Keeprite | Trane
