WR2- Series

Variable Refrigerant flow offering simultaneous heating and cooling with double heat recovery on refrigerant and water sides.

The (Water cooled) WR2-Series has been developed in response to demands for energy saving and environmental initiatives for such applications as modern high rise buildings where high quality insulation and heat generating office equipment may require simultaneous heating and cooling. The WR2 system can be used as a primary heat source in frigid climates. This is done by warming the condenser water. 

 
The WR2 System provides simultaneous heating and cooling with total heat recovery by utilizing a 2 pipe system. Double heat recovery is made possible on the refrigerant side as well the water side. Energy can be redirected between rooms that operate in different modes through the refrigerant side as well as between different systems serving different parts of the building through the water side , bringing about tremendous energy savings. The BC controller used in conjunction with the R2 outdoor unit makes this possible

 

The WR2 system can be used as a primary heat source in frigid climates. This is done by warming the condenser water. Note the heater and heat storage tank. 
Any of the different available models of City Multi indoor units can be connected to the BC controller by using only 2 pipes.  The complete range of City Multi controls are compatible with the R2-Series. As with all other City Multi systems the network control wiring can be linked between different outdoor units making it possible to control a number of systems from a central location.
